The Original C6 Formula
Power comes from Chevrolet’s naturally aspirated 6.0-litre LS2 V8, producing 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
It is paired with the six-speed automatic transmission introduced for 2006—an important improvement over the four-speed automatic used in the first-year C6. Manual shift control remains available when the road becomes more interesting, while the automatic makes the Corvette relaxed and effortless in traffic or on a longer journey.
