Why I Bought This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Two-Door Post

Because it combines the unmistakable style of a ’55 Chevrolet with upgrades that make it a pleasure to drive. I have driven this car at highway speeds, and it feels smooth and solid on the road.

A 210 with Bel Air appearance

Although its Ontario registration identifies it as a Bel Air, this Chevrolet left the factory as a 210 two-door post. During restoration, it was upgraded to replicate the Bel Air appearance.

Originally finished in black with blue cloth upholstery, it now wears India Ivory over Regal Turquoise, complemented by a custom white interior. It is a striking combination that suits the car beautifully.

Built to enjoy

The restoration includes:

• 350-cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 crate engine

• Three-speed automatic transmission

• Power steering

• Power brakes

• Air conditioning

These upgrades bring added comfort and ease of use to the classic Chevrolet driving experience. No audio equipment is currently installed.

The paint and chrome present beautifully, and the clean, inviting interior complements the exterior colours. Photographs show the appeal, but an in-person visit is the best way to appreciate the restoration’s fit and finish.
