1987 Porsche 928

We acquired this fabulous 1987 Porsche 928 in November of 2020 from Porsche Prestige of Montreal. Originally Guards Red, many years ago it had a complete colour change to Diamond Blue Metallic. This car is rock solid. This car became a pet project for us and we have spent a tremendous amount of time and love to prepare this timeless classic for its next home. Work includes, • A new windshield, the original was still in the car. • NGK Spark Plug Wire Set with 8 New Spark Plugs • Rear muffler was removed and replaced with a bypass exhaust which saves approximately 29 lbs. while making 5-7 more hp. Most important is the difference in sound. The bypass gives the 32 valve engine the sound the car really deserves. It is a direct replacement for the rear muffler so no cutting or welding will be required, the original muffler is included with the sale. • New rear license plate light assemblies. • New Wiper Blades • New Engine and Transmission Mounts • 18” Porsche 911 5 Spoke Staggered Alloy Wheels with Bridgestone Potenza Tires • New Trunk Lock Actuator • New O2 Sensors (3) • New Front Hood Struts • New Transmission Fluid Lines, Front to Back, New Fluid Reservoir, Seals, Gaskets and Filters. Transmission shift pattern tuned. • Climate Control Flap Actuators Center & Footwell Diaphragms • New A/C Compressor, Lines and Hoses, Upgrade to R134a. • ECU Rebuilt by JDS Porsche in England. Performance Chip Previously fitted. • Sachs Gas Front Shock Absorbers with New Bump Stops, Four Wheel Alignment • New Timing Belt and Water Pump and PKT Tensioner with Coolant Flush. • New Outside Driver’s Door Handle Lever Assembly. • New Pioneer Audio with Bluetooth and Kenwood Amp. • New Battery • New Power Steering Pump. • New Crankshaft Position Sensor The 928 S4 variant debuted in the second half of 1986 as a 1987 model, an updated version of the 5.0 L V8 for all markets producing 235 kW; 316 hp.
